CONGRATULATIONS - LENA CHAMPLIN

NORTH YARMOUTH, AUGUST 3, 2010 - The winner of the first Fun Day Logo contest is Lena Champlin a resident of North Yarmouth and Junior at Greely High School.  Lena is the daughter of Holly Hurd and Dave Champlin.

Her winning design, seen below, will be featured on the front cover of the 2010 Fun Day Program, as well as on the front of the 2010 Fun Day t-shirt.  Her illustration was rendered using a variety of media and is Lena interpretation of this year’s theme, “Discover North Yarmouth” thru art.

Lena has enjoyed drawing since childhood.  She will be selling note cards made from some of her many paintings and drawings at one of the tables under the tent on Fun Day.  While at Fun Day, drop by and say congratulations on winning this year’s fun day logo contest.

T-shirts featuring the winning design will be given to individuals who volunteer to help on Fun Day.  If you have not already volunteered, please contact Jason Raven at mr.corvus@gmail.com for more information.
